Biorb Heater Pack
An aquarium heater can be accommodated with the aid of the Reef One heater stand. The aquarium can then house small tropical fish.
The Biorb Heater Pack is designed specifically for use with the BiOrb, the acrylic heater stand is designed to allow the 50 watt heater to be fitted to the biOrb aquarium. A heater can be fixed securely inside the biOrb.

Biorb Ceramic Filter Media
Extra ceramic media can be added to your Reef One aquarium. This will increase the area available for biological filtration and makes it easier to anchor plants into position.
The ceramic media should not need to be replaced, but if you wish to change the media you should do so gradually, in stages, and not all at once. Changing the media gradually allows the existing filter bacteria to move across and colonise the new media from the old.
The ceramic media houses the beneficial bacteria that activate the biological filtration. The media is an inert, man-made material that will not alter the water pH. Adding additional media will increase the surface area available for bacteria colonisation enhancing biological filtration.

BiOrb Service Kit
The filter cartridge in your Biorb works like a waste bin, trapping dirt, once full it should be thrown away and replaced with a new one every 1-2 months A partial water change of 30% should be carried out at the same time.

BiOrb Anti Algae Kit
The biOrb Anti Algae kit is suitable for all freshwater (coldwater and tropical) aquariums.
The kit consists of a specially designed 'Anti Algae' cartridge, which only needs to be used if you have an excessive degree of algae in your aquarium.
We recommend that you try positioning your aquarium out of direct sunlight which will reduce the amount of algae build up. Also try reducing the amount you feed your fish. These tips alone may be the answer before having to use the Anti-Algae kit.

For the best results and greater impact place the biOrb in a dark or shady location.

Biorb Air Pump 12v
The air pump provides the bubble supply that powers the filter system and assists with oxygen diffusion in the aquarium.
It is essential that the air pump is left running permanently and it is recommended a spare be kept for emergencies.
Please note that the 12V air pump requires a transformer. If your BiOrb came without one you will need to purchase a transformer of this item.
