hobbyist. All components are contained in
a practical, sturdy plastic case. All the
necessary leaflets, test tubes and pipettes,
make this ready-to-use lab an aquarist's
most valuable tool
For Fresh & Saltwater use
Includes everthing you need to test for:
• Ammonia
• Calcium
• Nitrate
• Phosphate
• General Hardness
• Carbonate Hardness
• Nitrite
• pH (High Range and Low Range)
• Iron

HAGEN AMMONIA TEST KIT
Ammonia ( 0.0 - 7.3 mg/l ) Test
Weekly testing of ammonia levels will
indicate if the biological filter is working
efficiently or if the ammonia is reaching
dangerous levels
70 Tests
For Freshwater use only

| |
HAGEN NITRITE TEST KIT
Nitrite ( 0.0 - 3.3 mg/l ) Test
Monitoring nitrite levels on a weekly basis
is important to understand if there is a
problem in an aquarium or to track the
progression of its biological activity
(Nitrogen Cycle)
75 Tests
For Fresh & Saltwater use
|
HAGEN PHOSPHATE TEST KIT
Phosphate ( 0.0 - 5.0 mg/l ) Test
Phosphate levels should be monitored
weekly. High levels of Phosphate, often the
result of overfeeding or infrequent water
changes, can contribute to unsightly algae
growth

HAGEN NITRATE TEST KIT
Nitrate ( 0.0 - 110.0 mg/l ) Test
Nitrate should be tested on a regular basis
as a measure of pollution in the aquarium
and to determine if a water change is
necessary. Nitrate accumlulates in
aquariums over a period of time and is
difficult to remove by conventional filtration
means.

HAGEN PH WIDE RANGE TEST KIT
pH Wide Range ( 4.5 - 9.0 ) Test
The pH Wide Range Test will determine
the general range of pH in an aquarium.
Certain species of fish require specific
levels of pH to survive. By classifying water
as acidic or alkaline, a natural habitat can
be created for assorted species of fish

HAGEN HARDNESS TEST KIT
General Hardness (GH) & Carbonate
Hardness (KH) Test
Testing for General Hardness (GH) should
be done to determine if the levels of
Calcium (Ca) and Magnesium (Mg) are
optimal for specific species of fish.
Carbonate Hardness (KH) levels need to
be tested on a regular basis because they
fluctuate over time and can negatively
impact the pH balance of the aquarium.
Low Carbonate Hardness will result in
poor plant growth

HAGEN AMMONIA TEST KIT
Ammonia ( 0.0 - 6.1 mg/l ) Test
Weekly testing of ammonia levels will
indicate if the biological filter is working
efficiently or if the ammonia is reaching dangerous levels
